History
The first IMI multiple-pointer/multiple-input application was designed, created, and demonstrated by James Fairs and Dan Schaaf in 2002.
The Provisional patent covering this application was filed the following year. USPTO filings P001, P002, P002CIP, P003 and (now) P004
have followed...along with International GPT001, GPT002, and GPT002CIP.
Roughly thirty working demonstration applications have been created to illustrate the core Independent Multiple Input concepts of the Firm.
Both independent multiple-user and bimanual applications were displayed in public forum meetings in 2003 and 2004. In the summer of 2005,
the technologies were shown to various high profile retailers, industry sales representatives and other interested parties in conjunction with
the NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchandisers).
Later that same year,
IMI presented to attendees
of the AES Show (Audio
Engineering Society) at
the Jacob K. Javits
Convention Center,
New York City.
The Company has also
sponsored Technology
Showcases at such
locations as the
Technology Research
Education and
Commercialization
Center in conjunction with
the University of Illinois.
Input Logic Media was
launched as a Division of
the Firm in 2006, and has
subsequently released three
media-based software titles.
